Ouseburn

A wonderful walk along the quayside at Newcastle with my cousin and husband, passing the famous bridges and into Ouseburn, currently under development. We visited the Tyne Bar, a lively put built on the footprint of our great grandfather's pub, the Ship Inn. We saluted our ancestor with a few pints of local brew and then walked along the twisting bank of the little tributary, passing ancient buildings ripe for renovation... Cheers, Samuel Tulip Brownlee!
