Family's rest

In Byker and Heaton Cemetery cousin Di and I discovered our ancestors' final resting place. Beneath this impressive monument (the figure at the top has fallen off!) lie several members of our family... Samuel Tulip Brownlee, his wife Elizabeth Elliott, their sons Samuel Elliott Brownlee, Thomas Brownlee, and William Brownlee and his Scottish wife Kate Moncur.
