Bright Blue

1. It's a crisp autumn morning in Inverness. Bright blue skies. I celebrate with a right good hotel brekkie - veggie option, no beans.

2. The drive home is totally different from the drive up. The sky is clear and the colours are stunning. Really, really lovely.

3. Home with that sense of relief that comes with making it off the A9 in one piece. I go for a run through Linn Park. It goes up really, really high.

4. My neighbourhood is pure hoachin' with guisers. They've gone to town this year and the one armed Mexican bandit makes me burst out laughing.

5. The Chicken Pie award for best in show goes to Colin Clark.
