No Shoes November

I went to my friend Simon's fundraiser this evening; he has taken the brave/foolish decision to go without shoes for a whole month to raise money for Christian Aid and the food crisis in East Africa.

To launch No Shoes November he hosted a music evening to let everyone know what he was up to and give people a chance to put some money to the cause. The picture is Simon's lovely girlfriend Lucy showcasing her musical talent.

Although I am scared for the health of Simon's feet over this month, I'm also seriously impressed by his dedication.
