The Not-Quite-Hallowe'en Party

We celebrated hallowe'en today in our little student home, as Lyds was busy being all cosmopolitan in London yesterday. Turns out it was worth the wait, as the three of us had a fantastic evening.

While the wind and rain wreaked havoc outside we were warm and dry, carving pumpkins, making toffee apples, baking cupcakes and dipping strawberries in chocolate & sprinkles, all the while singing along to Disney soundtracks and laughing our bums off whenever the toffee fused someone's jaw shut.

When we were done with our food-related exploits we took to the lounge to watch a small amount of scary TV (we are a bunch of wimps) followed by a healthy dose of comedy as an antidote.

It was an evening to spite the weather.
