Maungawhau (Mt Eden)

This morning's run took me past Eden Park, where just over a week ago, the New Zealand Rugby Union team tried so hard to emulate the New Zealand Rugby League team and lose a game locals confidently expected them to win. Just before I reached the stadium, I took this picture.

The top of Maungawhau is the highest point, behind one of the Phoenix palms. The sun is behind the other. This is S' favourite of the four pictures taken during my run today
