Penrith today

My usual parking place outside the George Hotel was vacant as it neared sandwich time this morning. The accordian playing girl Snappy is so keen on wasnt there today so I had to leave the radio on. Greggs was busy but worth the wait for the cheap and good coffee they serve. Theres also free Wifi here, well, unsecured, handy for checking who has Blipped early doors.

Im a big fan of silhouetted skylines - it keeps the eye focused on the shapes not the detail and a whited out sky is nearly always unnatractive. I did allow a little detail to remain here though, so the featured buildings might be recognised from Snappys recent Blips
