Unintentionally continuing the fire theme from yesterday.

I was back to work on Tuesday because a fire drill was scheduled and I'm a fire steward for our building. This involves telling everyone to get the heck out when the alarm goes off and then shouting at them to move away from the building when they mill about aimlessly outside. Oooh the power!

Seriously though, I had to go on a training course to earn this yellow vest and the difference it makes is remarkable. I've participated in a drill when I didn't have the vest and almost had to physically push people out of the building when they were trying to go to the loo and things like that. With the yellow vest they tend to stare at you blankly for a second or two and then obey.

Remember people - Keep fire doors shut. The difference they make is incredible!
