Bug..

....Probably a shield bug nymph I think.

I was going to post an amusing (look, it's been a long day!) image of me reflected in a pine ladybird.
I opted for this one because I completely missed the lichen until I saw it on screen.
And there's a pleasant kind of 'colour-coordinated' feel to it.

As if the bug has decided that this was the exact accessory it was aiming for.

This is a skill I secretly envy in chic women... That puzzling ability to choose exactly the right shade in a scarf. And, of course, to cast it casually around the neck with that (how the hell do they do it?) perfect drape.
On attempting the 'scarf-drape' I always manage to look either as though matron got me ready before she put on the light, or some kids have dressed me as a snowman.
Right up to the chin...
Ah! Perhaps that's where I'm going wrong.
