Such a perfect day....

....................Leith Festival Gala Day was a corker today. The good citizens of the free republic danced, sang, marched, skipped, played, clapped, drank, ate, cried and lots more....all day in the sun. The full cross-section of Leith life was there and it was just magic.....and again, the sun shone on Leith.

Later we crossed the border back into Edinburgh for a sublime BBQ at Pedro and Fi's house. Side splitting stories from Vicar Jeffrey (the 68 year old man of the cloth who married them and who gave me some interesting food for thought on the the old theology debate and a few very blue jokes).

Missed a rendezvous with this blipper in the Cask & Barrel; sorry mate time just ran away from me and I hadn't finished cooking food until 9pm.
