AGNES

Another cop out blip in my occasional series of Christian names. This time Agnes, and yes, yet another narrow boat, but I also have a bear named Agnes. My Agnes has travelled quite widely, for a bear, having visited Scotland on numerous occasions, and has also been up Mont Blanc; though she failed to reach the summit, her Sherpa being made of less sturdy stuff.
