Heading to Sea

The visibility was really poor at the south end of Shetland this afternoon, so I went over to Scalloway to see if things were any less murky there. They were.

This is the fishing boat Solstice (BF 56) heading west out of Scalloway harbour in mid-afternoon, heading to Rockall. And thanks to the internet, some nifty electronics and a project from the University of the Aegean(!) you can see exactly where the boat is now on the http://www.marinetraffic.com website.
