Tree movies

When I was a kid I used to lie back in the car and watch the trees zipping by overhead. Now that I'm always driving I never get to do that, so I took my chance on our endless driving through the redwoods.

Amazing day today. We started off near the coast at a windswept State Park where they had a very cool reconstruction of a native American village. The houses were all semi-underground, so the kids loved climbing in and out.

We found more redwood forests to explore, managed to avoid all the bears and Big Foot, and ended up in seaside Crescent City.

Lots of wonderful sights today and amazing blue blue skies as the backdrop, but this was my favourite picture.
