God Damn, I said God Damn!!

I bloody love Sundays.

The Sundays of old were full of being dragged in from playing (against my loudly protested wishes), hot baths, clean jammies and The Muppet Show.

My adult Sundays are different - scrabble, wine, roasted yumminess and fighting sleep to avoid Monday.

Different activities (although I'd go a good bath and an episode of The Muppets any day, and clean jammies now I come to think of it), but still the same feelings - safety, warmth, contentment.

Sigh.
