gala day...

Scobes...is that you?!?!?!

Hahaha.

As usual Gala Day down at Leith Links was full of the usual fun and frolicks (and out and out jakeydom). The sun was shining, the reggae from Messenger Sound System floated through the air and the wine and cider was flowing freely.

Shame I had to go home with food poisoning, but there you go.

Poor Dog had to sit in the back garden with our very lovely (but oh so painfully straight) neighbours and have a sunshiney blether. They had been down to the Gala Day too but came away because 'there were so many jakeys'. Bry decided to speak out on behalf of all of us and said that up till this year we were at the epicentre of jakeydom down there and it was a bit of a culture shock not to be red faced and staggering whilst trying to remember the words to '3 little birds' by Bob Marley.

I'm glad he admitted his jakeydom. For we'll always be jakeys at heart.
