The Promised Jammies!
This series of catalog shots started this past Tuesday when the holiday catalogs began arriving in our mailbox.
Tuesday the party dresses that caught my attention.
Then Wednesday it was the snuggly soft turtleneck shirts, and I also mentioned slippers and jammies. I mentioned then that I pray every night that I don't die in my sleep because I don't want to be caught dead in my current jammies -- they are comfy but stylish--no way! I certainly wouldn't want to wear them throughout eternity! So I promised I'd blip some of the lovely jammies that are parading on the pages of these holiday catalogs.
Well, then I had two days of -- oh my gosh look at the view -- and I couldn't blip jammies in place of those vistas. So . . .
So today -- THE JAMMIES! "Embraceable PJ's" -- They do look Christmasy, don't you think. Best of all they have pockets. No, I don't need pockets when I'm in bed, but when I am up walking around I like to have my phone in one pocket and my cheapie camera in the other pocket.
So resisting the urge to purchase these jammies is going to be even more difficult than the party dresses posted on Tuesday. But if I do have a "slumberless party" for my November birthday then these are the jammies I'd choose to wear. So I guess I better order them. Plus dying in my sleep with these on would be okay -- I could handle wearing these for eternity.
So maybe tomorrow I'll blip some of the interesting slippers I'm seeing in the pages of these catalogs.
Good night from a chilly cold Southern California.

P.S. Today we attending the "Birthday Party Open House" for our friend Joyce. It was like a reunion -- so many people that we hadn't seen in such a long time. It was just a little too cold to be out-of-doors. Thankfully they had several outdoor patio heaters.
P.P.S. Mitzi and Max went to the groomers today -- we were too lazy to give them a bath (it's lots of work). Chloe didn't get to go. She's easy to bath. Tomorrow we take them to Petco to get holiday photos. Getting three dogs to pose ought to hysterical. I'm sure tomorrow I'll get my "laugh" quota.
P.P.P.S. I was sad to learn that Andy Rooney died yesterday. His 3-minutes at the end of "Sixty Minutes" every Sunday evening was the best of the entire program.
