What is a window?

A window is a protector from the rain or snow.

A window is a frame allowing you to watch the world go by.

A window is an opportunity to look at a new world or a new beginning.

I'm saying goodbye to my window and will be taking a bite out of some fruit shortly! Can you guess what it is?
