The Waiting Game

And that is what these two seemed to be playing this afternoon in my garden.

This nursey rhyme came into my head whilst taking the picture:-

Two little dicky birds sitting on a wall, (okay, so they are in a bush)
One named Peter, one named Paul.
Fly away Peter, fly away Paul,
Come back Peter, come back Paul!

They didn't fly away though until after about 20 minutes. Goodness knows what they were doing. They couldn't have been waiting for food as there is plenty out there for them.
