Fire
First about the photo, it was taken in the early morning hours of the bonfire we had for the 5th and I have to say that I really like fire and pyrotechnics and enjoy making bonfires (although I didn't get to make this one) and play around with fireworks (accidentally imported illegal firecrackers into the UK).
So now about the day. It started of with again only having slept about 4 hours and waking up to do personal bible study in ephesians again, still not further than chapter one, but there is just so much in this passage and I'm really enjoying the commentary I'm reading as it unpacks the passage in great detail.
We had our last talk on Hosea today and it was highlighted how good Gods grace is and how he will restore Israel as he will restore us if we turn back to him after we have fallen. I really enjoyed the Dorm Group time as well as we spoke about a lot about Hosea and how it can affect our own lives. It was also good to just pray for each other.
After a nice lunch we had to clean and pack to set off for home, But before that we had to take a, I think, traditional group photo, in which I nearly successfully hid in the background. The bus journey home was rather boring as most people seemed to use the time to sleep and since I was not tired at all I just finished off my essay which was due in on Monday.
Overall I must say that I quite enjoyed Houseparty, although there were too many people there for my liking, I prefer smaller groups or even just one-on-one chats with friends. But it was still good to have gone there and to have met people from CU which I might have never met otherwise.
So now its back to normal life for a while and trying to get some more sleep if possible. And I'm also hoping to meet up with friends a bit more during the week and maybe actually find some friends that might even trust me a bit and whom I might trust.
