THE LAST POPPY

Celandine-poppy

This is the last poppy in the back garden. Putting on a brave show on these damp Autumn days. A little splash of colour.

I can take no credit for it as the seed must just have blown in on the wind sometime and this is the result.

It is growing in the spot where my cat Squeaky is buried and I like to think that Squeaky has a hand in prolonging it's beauty.
