Why did they just call the place Spoon?

SWMBO and I took the Cygnet to Mill Farm this morning to see the ugly ducks, the hairy faced horses and the calves being fed.
The old enquiry window caught my eye.
I just really like the worn, patina stained wood.

This evening I headed out to the Blip Meet at Spoon where big chips were consumed (not be me I hasten to add ...... my body is a temple) and temporary camera supports were built and new aquaintences made.

I have no idea why Sands is reaching for DaveH's nether regions and I am too much of a gentleman to ask.
