Happy Birthday!

It was The Man's birthday today. We'd been out for a lovely meal on Sunday night with his brother and sister-in-law but tonight we had another nice meal at home to include The Mother in the celebration.

The last of the trout given to us by Scottish fisherman was served up with salad and baked potato wedges. Merlot was drunk, but the bit mother liked the best (apart from the sherry apéritif) was the toffee and pecan roulade served with cream and ice cream! Yum!

A late blip of one of the candles!
