problematic...

Had a new phone line installed on Monday so that we could have our BT account transferred, was expecting it to be a little slow but it actually wasn't that bad.

But then yesterday it had stopped connecting all together and the orange broadband light seams to be flashing but nothing is happening.

Had an engineer out today to look at it but he was more interested in watching TV, he phoned BT told them about the problem ad said they would deal with it and get back to us in the next 24 hours.

They have since said that the problem has been fixed and should all be working which it isn't, so I have phoned them myself just to be told there is a known problem with the broadband service from BT and is affecting a large number of people other than ourselves.

Why could they not have said this to the BT man earlier?

Am using my boss's wi-fi at the minute which although I complain it is slow and slightly unreliable, it is working a whole lot better than the service we are paying for!!!
