On a collision course with destiny

Never been a major fan of the awards ceremony, tearful speeches, back patting, elation and disappointment, maybe I'm just a bit cynical. But Madame is off to one this evening, a very swanky do by all accounts, so I have the evening to myself as I need to start with a very long list of the late 2011 to do list.

So without much further ado, the second prize for the most suicidal creature encountered this morning on the way into the office is, oh hold on I can never get these envelopes open, the prize goes to 'The Worm'. Cue fanfare music, cameras pan round applauding audience and voice off begins now.

The Worm started his career in precarious living within 2 yards of a bird's nest. Living on the edge always seemed to be the way he chose to live his life. Coming from a large family of risk takers it has literally taken him some time to get where he is today......

So maybe I should get on with that list then.

Body balance today made me stretch in many unusual ways, which was kind of what I needed, feeling a bit rusty at the moment.

Incidentally first prize went to a slug who was naturally closer to the road but was moving so fast the photo I took was actually blurred, but maybe that was me, not concentrating.
