I Won't Hide

This Maple leaf refuses to be covered up by the snow. Rightly so it is a beautiful red color. The snow still crazy deep but thankfully we didn't get any more. We are on day three of no power. We have been running the generator off and on to keep our freezer at temp and the heat on in the houses. When you don't have power you start to realize how much you take things for granted. I decided it is time to catch up on some reading. I can't workout, I can't get on the computer and I already went for a walk against Mark's wishes. Mark was afraid more trees would come down and that I might get struck with one while walking. I told him I would leave the dogs home so they wouldn't get hurt ;)) He didn't find the humor in it, LOL!! I do have to admit it is a little scary walking around. With all these trees down and hanging low you start hearing cracking and creaking you do have to watch.
