Vera's Grotto
After all that cycling yesterday we needed to stretch our legs today and we set off for a decent walk which began unusually at the top of the mountain. This meant we started with great views, we walked along the top of the canyon to the 'Three Sisters' rock formation and then descended via 900 steep steps. We walked along to the bottom of the Katoomba falls and up the Furber Steps, which gave us more opportunities to see the waterfalls from different levels. This photograph was taken at Vera's Grotto (no idea who Vera was) it was a windy day and the water was getting blown away from the rocks.
I've just realised that it's Thursday today so we've another day here and then away to the big smoke of Sydney.
