Vancouver: Burrard Inlet: Ironworkers Bridge

...let the back blipping commence!

This is the view from the Ironworkers Memorial Second Narrows Crossing, that's a bit of a mouthful! The bridge stretches over the Burrard Inlet from East Van to North Van and it rattles with the vibrations of the traffic. Today we walked around New Brighton Park and up a short cut to the bridge. There's a separate bike lane from all the roaring traffic, which is a good thing. Ingeniously the bike lane is only wide enough for one bike, so if you meet someone coming the other way its either an all out battle of who dares wins, or a very polite slow shuffle of handlebars. Still, lovely views towards downtown Vancouver on a sunny evening!
