Fall Botanical Color

These were taken in the Japanese garden at Bellevue's Botanical Garden. After my pm rt. I went over there to see how the colors were in this special place and they were great with lovely lighting on them. So before I took the dogs out I did some shooting there. Then off to romp watch the dogs run around the dog park.

Yesterday afternoon I was talking with one parent about her son who is quite sensitive and having some problems adapting to bus riding. She said it's been a huge transition for him to go from half day at kindergarten to a full day this year in first grade. She said by the afternoon bus run he is very tired due to being a vegetarian and all and finds it hard to deal with all the stimuli on the bus run. Hmmm...that was a new reason to me so I suggested a snack of bacon to help him survive it---just kidding! I thought maybe he could ride up front and she agreed. But when he came aboard he wanted no part of that and chose to go right back to the middle! He did just fine and mom was eagerly awaiting for him at his stop and pleased he seemed just fine!

While I was chatting with this mom, a little kindergarten girl came onto the bus and whispered into my ear that she really really liked me. She also said she wanted to be a bus driver when she grows up. I gave her a hug and thought----that dream will quickly change:)!!! Kind of sweet and cute though and certainly brightened this bus driver's day!
