Last of the autumn leaves

They are coming off fast here at Waresley Wood and this dogwood will soon be bare. The colours seem to have been particularly bright this year. There are now quite a few fungi about in contrast to a couple of weeks ago. A surprising range of flowers too, including a brightly coloured betony.
