Pumpkin

I grew this Long Island Cheese pumpkin from seeds sent to me by ceridwen, from the pumpkin she roasted last year. Unlike her, I didn't stuff this one with ground goat meat because E and the friend we'd invited to supper don't eat meat. I used bulgur, capers, garlic, mushrooms, tomato and thyme. After I took this photo, for the last half hour of the 3-hour cooking, I removed the top and covered the stuffing with chopped feta cheese which melted slightly and browned. It was very good.
