My Domain

In my domain,
I watch the sunset color up the eve.
And tint the clouds above,
In such a fashion...to believe.

That all is just a fairyland,
And trees are just a tassel.
That mountains reaching upward,
Have turrets...like a castle.

I see the wonderment of things,
Of a rugged, deep ravine.
Where waters...edged by growing leaf,
Leave a cleft and jagged-line.

A face filled with expressions,
Is but a story told.
Like a page filled to its margins,
With more than it can hold.

For laughter rings...in my domain,
And solace climbs the stairs.
And in that distance...just beyond,
Is where I kneel...in Prayer.
