Bunny Three-oh!

Today was a big day for my bunnies. After nearly four months on his own following the loss of his beloved friend, my lovely Archie (r) was showing signs of loneliness. I made the decision to bond him with my happy elderly bunny couple, Nell and Sumi.

Bonding bunnies can take lots of work and needs to take place on neutral territory to avoid bickering and fighting, so we went off to my friend Sharon's house and used her bunny run (and moral support).

We had no problem introducing them and they made friends so quickly. Archie is a big scaredy but he's quite dominant and boisterous in the group. Nell and Sumi don't seem to mind though. I feel a bit sorry for them as it must be like an older couple having a young 20- something lodger move in! They seem to like him though. It was lovely to see them cuddled up, snoozing in the autumn sunshine together before we left for home.

Today was really heartwarming; it's so lovely to see a bunny with new friends.
