Anniversary celebrations

My parents returned home from their cruise holiday late last night, having celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday whilst in Monte Carlo.

Tonight, my sister and I visited them at home and enjoyed hearing their holiday tales. We enjoyed a home cooked dinner together and they were pleased with their anniversary gifts. My sister bought this cake for them, featuring a photograph of their wedding day. They were really pleased with it. We didn't know whether you should light candles on an anniversary cake, but we did anyway and sang 'Happy Anniversary to you' to them both!
