A dream
I would have to say that this little farm on Whidbey Island was a huge highlight of my trip. My dream: to live on a small farm where I grow my own food, have lots of cute animals, and have a romantic life with my mate. I want all of this without living too far from the city. This farm was so perfect. We walked around the gardens, watched the geese, and llamas, saw a cute little bunny and a sheep dog, and we ate local cuisine, most food coming from around the area, and local wine, oh and lets not forget the marionberry pie. mmmmmm...... Then we walked nextdoor to the restaurant and found an amazing artist who we spoke with for quite a while.
On our was up to Bellingham, we stopped at several more state parks, which didn't cost a things and were nestled along the pacific coast adorned with tall pines, evergreens, ferns, waterfalls, mountains, driftwood, and ah.....how wonderful it was. The drive we took up to Bellingham was amazing.
Bellingham is a very cute town. It's only about twenty minutes from the Canadian border. Aimee met a girl named Jessica at a gas station in Bellingham, and a few minutes later ended up at a party that Jessica had invited us to. She was really nice and later invited us to sleep at her place.
In the morning we woke up early, went to a cafe and had breakfast, then were on our way to Canada.
