Reading for many years to come

Much to my surprise, I turned 50 today. :-) I'm now older than ever before!

M gave me this lovely present this morning - the Royal Horticultural Society's A-Z Encyclopedia of Garden Plants! I'm so thankful and pleased - this will keep me busy for many years! It's great to have plenty of good gardening books to look for inspiration during the dark and cold winter months. Thank you so much, M! I love you to bits!

Tonight we're celebrating with a couple of friends. It will be a lovely late autumn/early winter dinner, mainly based on what we harvested on our allotment this autumn. I'm really looking forward to that!
