Oak Leaf Hydrangea
I started out for the hardware store to purchase a faucet for the kitchen sink but my Mini must've had a mad mind of it's own since I mysteriously arrived at the Frelinghusen Arboretum in Morristown.
Maybe I can blame it on the happy hydrangea blippers, either way I lucked into this beautiful specimen of the Saxitrage Family. I've not seen anything like it; the leaves and hydrangea were HUGE, at least 12 inches minimum, possibly more.
Proper name for this beast is the Hydrangea Quercifolia.
