Portrait of Covarubbias (sp?)

A glorious sunny day in Toledo with Janet who came in from Madrid. We saw lots of wonderful and interesting things and ate lots of great stuff too. But the best for me was seeing this portrait by El Greco, which is one of my favourites of all time. You could get up so close to it that I could have kissed him. The amazing Burial of the Count of Orgaz was fab too - I've studied it in reproduction but the actual size, details and colours were breathtaking.
