You Spin Me Round
I'm not entirely sure where I am any more....fourth bed in four nights last night (no comments, thanks Gwyn).
We spent the day in Leeds with old university ('corridor') friends and all the children, which was entertaining. This included our first soft play experience, which was hugely improved when we realised we were allowed to 'accompany' Alexander on the slide. It was lovely to see the babies playing together, and to meet several of them for the first time. It was flipping tiring though.
Then spouses and babies went their ways and we went into Leeds for a night out. A couple of glasses of champagne revitalised us, followed by a few more cocktails, and a very slow and pretty nasty meal in Strada: avoid. We ate it because we were drunk and ravenous. We did get a bit knocked off the bill, but even so...
Then Sarah's rather inspired idea of booking a private room at a karaoke club: no queuing for the bar, everyone could sit down, no drunk people stood on your foot (except the ones you knew, anyway), and we got to choose our own songs.
I got a bit confused yesterday with the 'video your life' challenge, so I realise now I didn't take many photos: my friends will probably be glad they didn't feature in this photo, but that's because I have them in live performance instead. Muuuhahahahahhaaaa!
