We managed a second Sunday stroll in two weeks, very definitely something which we will be trying to do as long as the weather will permit. I feel we have missed autumn over the last few years and this year we are certainly making the most of it, or we're trying to.

We then wandered to acquire some more vital elements for some toy or other and there above us swung the largest inflatable snowman I think I have ever seen, oh yes some festival of rampant consumerism is just around the corner. Not sure how ties in with the current economic feelings of woe. Perhaps it will result in a gentle pull back from being such a consumer centred affair to being a bit more centred on giving and thinking about others.
