geese...

...with gull

gulls were everywhere...

i had no idea we had so many... every time i've been to the lake - i've seen a handful... today there were what seemed like hundreds - swooping down and around towards the water... i did catch some decent shots against the mountains - but you know lighting and all... i wasn't satisfied - boo! i find that funny... me, who doesn't really know still after all this what she's doing - wasn't satisfied with the lighting... cracks me up - i'm still giggling...

at one point... there was so much racket - it disturbed the geese and they took to flight. i was able to get a line of them - which never fails to fascinate me - how precise they are... they follow each other without question, so naturally - whoever's in front assuming leadership. it wasn't until i'd uploaded that i saw the gull encroaching on their airspace... but it didn't affect their line up - they remained focused and on task...

they certainly set an example i should follow - for i can be easily distracted... getting way laid and suddenly will find myself behind on my to-do list. however, i like to think that makes me flexible and spontaneous thus making for...
