Shaggy Ink Cap
... or Lawyer's Wig (Coprinus comatus), if I've identified it correctly, is yet another fungus growing prolifically on the grassy South Hams coastal path in Devon.
It's another to add to my collection of fungi, which started with Fungus fest, featuring a parasol mushroom, a puff ball and a yellow cow-pat toadstool in early October, and yesterday's turkey tails.
Weather's gone really grey today, but remains dry (for now).
