Bains Chantereine

After a really nice coffee this morning with one of my oldest friends and her partner I walked through the quartier de la Nouvelle Athènes and spotted this at 39, rue Chateaudun. A little research shows that it is all that is left of the public baths that were operating at this spot in the early 1830s, before it was common to have running water at home.
