The Door.
Durdle Door.
Went for a roadtrip today with my brother, as is tradition.
I drove through the fog and clouds to Dorchester, where we stopped for food and to wait for the weather to improve slightly.
Then on to Lulworth and up into the car park.
From there we walked to Durdle Door, up the steps and hills then down onto the beach.
After strolling along the beach, we walked back to the car (the car park was expensive, so we only got a 2 hour ticket).
We wandered round the 'visitor centre' and learnt about rocks then jumped back into the car.
A short drive later we arrived at Lulworth Castle, another expensive car park and a very hefty entrance fee, so we just wandered round the grounds. We had it all to ourselves, apparently not many people go for days out on Mondays in term time in rubbish weather!
Driving home was less foggy and less stressful, although I always forget how early it gets dark!
Anywho, good day, good trip, good to see the sea.
Wasn't too sure about having this photo as my blip, there are alternatives here if you fancy a look.
