Good company

A blip for those of you interested in boats!

This was taken from Sula's cockpit. I took the photo to get a general impression of 'life in the shed', and it wasn't until I looked at it more closely that I realised that we are in pretty good company. The wooden boat next to us is Rumbuster a 25 year old, 33', Sparkman and Stephens yacht. The wooden yacht beyond the blue awning is Spray of Wight, a replica of Joshua Slocum's round the world yacht and the smaller wooden boat behind her is Genesta who, perhaps(!), is named after another famous yacht.

Much less glamourously, I spent a very pleasant November day below decks, in the gloomy shed washing and painting lockers.
