Is it really November?

It was such a beautiful morning that I ignored the long list of tasks and walked to the High Pond. It's been a while since I was last there. I took lots of photos and could have blipped most of them - it's hard to go wrong on a calm, blue sky day - but decided on this one because I liked the colours, shape and reflection. It's not an area of the pond that I photograph very often although it's where the dabchicks built their nest. I love the two small rowan trees on the far side as they are festooned with lichen - I'll try to get a good close up one day.
