Gourds
I saw this box of gourds at the market and loved their colours and juxtaposition. It is nothing special by way of a photograph but it was a special point in the day when I spotted it. Finding that one special moment in the day is important for me, especially if it a day that seems to have few pleasures. For anyone with a tendency towards introspection, finding that moment is a positive discipline. The strength of a photo is that it captures that moment and fixes it. Today it is wet and damp proving that the sun does not always shine here. The mist and low clouds have their own beauty as they swirl around the peaks, cutting their visibility by moments. I will take pleasure from that.
'The past has flown away. The coming month and year do not exist. Ours is the present's tiny point.
