Toros Reds vs Daphne Whites

Well, our team (Toros Reds) reached the quarter finals to face down Daphne Whites. We destroyed Daphne Purples the other day, but now we seemed to be up against a team of High School ringers.

Remember, these are 12 year olds, last year of Middle School.

Anyway, after the first touchdown (by our team of course), the game descended into a pushing match, and the Daphne Whites definitely had the upper hand. But they were unable to make their superior strength work for them, either through fouls and losing ground they had worked hard to take, or just have their touchdowns slammed to the ground when the ball finally did escape.

15 minutes before the end or guys got their second touchdown to a huge amount of cheering from our side. The poor guy who got the ball had to run virtually the entire length of the field to do it, but we certainly appreciated it.

A final touchdown was made in the last few minutes to seal a 21-nil win. A hard win, but the 10th in the row. Haven't lost this season.

On Thursday night we're in the semi finals but not sure against who as the other game ended in a draw.
