Christmas Prep

I caught this worker in the process of setting up for Christmas while walking through the Lakewood Mall's outside plaza. He said they normally decorate the mall in a single day, with a crew of 20 or so guys working all night to transform the shopping complex. He and his partner were disassembling the outdoor tree so they could add extra ornaments for an even more festive atmosphere. They expected this project to take about eight hours.

He was happy to have his photos taken, but didn't slow down at all methodically adding sparkling balls to the green boughs spread across the sidewalk. It seems too early for Christmas, but everywhere we go we are assailed by Christmas music and decorations so I thought I would try and get in the spirit by posting this photo.
