Coffee Zone

I headed home through Sydenham today hoping to see this temporary coffee shop in action but they'd closed before I got there.

The blue container is the back of this shop.

And here it is here while still being developed.

I love this. It makes me want to stay in Christchurch. Such creativity and tenacity. Old bricks from the rubble form the base of the striped benches, part of the seating supplied.

They've made something out of nothing and I think it's great.

They're only open until 3.30pm Mon-Fri so it might be a bit tricky getting here when it's all happening but I'll do my best.
