Demolition time

An early morning trip to the Quayside found me here, this is the demolition of a famous, or infamous depending on your viewpoint, Tyneside landmark. Spillers Mill, unfortunately it as turned into an Art Gallery like the Baltic.

It has however taken months to get it to this stage.

You can buy rock and paving stones from the site if that's your desire !!

Techie stuff : three image HDR in fotomatix pro, converted to Mono in Silver efex, applied a red filter and a slight purple tone, some areas have been dodged to lighten them.

I already have a blip in mind for tomorrow as I'll be back in Newcastle again in the morning.
